Visualizing the story of the Zodiac Killer through data. Every piece of this book, created in memoriam to honor the victims, represents the story as represented by media and overlayed with the untold stories of the victims. Each page of the final book was dipped in wax, screen-printed and finally hand-bound, with every image and line representing a part of the story. Circles represent the number of wounds on softened/blurred imagery of where they were targeted. Some fully formed, some melting–every layer blending the delicate nature of human life in juxtaposition with the harsh reality of the outcome.
